Paradise Girl
Wood engraving and linocut collage on gold painted board.
SOLD
This was one of the first collages I made during lockdown. When I couldn't get out to the workshop to print, or the life class to draw, I decided to cut up the prints I already had to make something new and bigger. I found myself being drawn to rich colours and gold. The more bleak the news, the more colourful my work became. I sold this work before I was sure I wanted to so I made another two versions on a plywood base. One of these hangs on my wall at home. The other is still available.
